ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE HIGHER EDUCATION STUDENT AMNESTY
REGULATED BY LAW NO. 7592

Candidates who wish to benefit from the provisions of Provisional Article 85, which was added to Higher Education Law No. 2547 by Law No. 7592, published in the Official Gazette dated 9 August 2026 and numbered 33335, and entered into force upon its publication, are required to submit their applications within four months from the date on which this Article entered into force (by the close of business on 9 December 2026).

Among students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs, including preparatory programs, those whose enrollment was terminated for any reason before 9 December 2026, or those who were entitled to register after being placed in a program but did not register, will be allowed to commence their studies following the completion of their course equivalency and placement procedures, as follows:

• Those who apply by 7 September 2026 will commence their studies in the Fall Semester of the 2026–2027 Academic Year;
• Those who apply between 8 September 2026 and 9 December 2026 will commence their studies in the Spring Semester of the 2026–2027 Academic Year.

Students at the Basic English Preparatory Class stage of the School of Foreign Languages:

1. a)Students whose enrollment was terminated while they were in the Basic English Preparatory Class, or who were entitled to register but never registered, are required to meet theBasic English Preparatory Class exemption requirements of the School of Foreign Languages in order to commence their undergraduate or graduate programs. 2. b)Students who do not meet the exemption requirements for the Basic English Preparatory Class may take the English Proficiency Examination, which will be administered in two stages on 15 and 17 September 2026. For detailed information, please visit iyte.edu.tr.

• Graduate:Original and photocopy of the Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree Diploma or a graduation certificate obtained via e-Government

3. Undergraduate:ÖSYS / YKS Examination Result and Placement Document (For those who were entitled to register but have never registered)
4. Military Service Status Certificate / Certificate of Discharge(May be obtained via e-Government)
5. Photocopy of the Turkish Republic Identity Card

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR STUDENTS WISHING TO TRANSFER UNDER THE STUDENT AMNESTY

• A printout indicating the website address where the course contents can be accessed.
• Document indicating ÖSYS/YKS Examination Results and Placement Scores.
• Document certifying exemption from the Basic English Preparatory Class or successful completion of the Basic English Preparatory Class.

Since the medium of instruction at our Institute is a foreign language, the exemption requirements for the Basic English Preparatory Class must be met. For the exemption requirements, click here.

Note:

• A document certifying that the student has not previously transferred pursuant to Additional Article 1 will be required at the time of registration.
• A document certifying that there is no circumstance preventing the student from transferring will be required at the time of registration.

  Foreign National Student Placement Document:

• Undergraduate: TR-YÖS, İYÖS, SAT
• Graduate: TOEFL, GRE, ALES

  Photocopy of Passport

  Residence Permit / Visa (To be attached, if available)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. Candidates must complete theApplication and Registration Form within the specified periods and submit their application documents, together with the required documents, to the IZTECH Registrar’s Office. Pursuant to the Law, applications will not be accepted after the application deadline. Delays caused by postal delivery will not be taken into consideration.
2. Applications from candidates with incomplete documents will not be accepted. Candidates whose applications are deemed eligible will be notified via the e-mail addresses specified in theApplication and Registration Form.
3. Applications must be submittedin person, through a notarized power of attorney, or by post with all required documents complete. (Applications by e-mail will not be accepted.)
